Donna, age 85, passed away Tuesday, November 15 after battling the effects of Alzheimer's Disease. She was born in Plankinton, South Dakota to Earl Alfred Zundel and Vernice Mae Hall Zundel, moved to Washington when she was ten, and remained there throughout her school years. She moved to California after marrying Roland LeRoy Houtz in March of 1953.

Donna was a devoted wife and mother. She always surrounded herself with family and friends. She had the heart of a saint and always thought of others. Her Christian faith was central to her outlook...

Donna, age 85, passed away Tuesday, November 15 after battling the effects of Alzheimer's Disease. She was born in Plankinton, South Dakota to Earl Alfred Zundel and Vernice Mae Hall Zundel, moved to Washington when she was ten, and remained there throughout her school years. She moved to California after marrying Roland LeRoy Houtz in March of 1953.

Donna was a devoted wife and mother. She always surrounded herself with family and friends. She had the heart of a saint and always thought of others. Her Christian faith was central to her outlook on life and she was active in the church.

She is survived by her husband, Roland Houtz, children Debra Belgard, Diana Boles, Denise Welton and Richard Houtz, sister Mildred Anderson, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday, December 3 at 2:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church of Santa Clara, 2499 Homestead Rd. Santa Clara, California 95050

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
