David Keith Romkee, 86, of Santa Clara, CA, was born on December 28, 1930, in Exeter, CA to
William and Orpha May (Manley) Romkee. Keith passed away in Weatherford, Oklahoma on
September 2, 2017, while on an annual summer trip traveling across the country. He died
peacefully in his sleep from Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease. During his life, Keith served
his country in the Navy for 4 years. He later worked as a carpenter and was an employee at
United Airlines for twenty-eight years. Erskin Skates came to Keith's home to share the gospel
with him....

David Keith Romkee, 86, of Santa Clara, CA, was born on December 28, 1930, in Exeter, CA to
William and Orpha May (Manley) Romkee. Keith passed away in Weatherford, Oklahoma on
September 2, 2017, while on an annual summer trip traveling across the country. He died
peacefully in his sleep from Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease. During his life, Keith served
his country in the Navy for 4 years. He later worked as a carpenter and was an employee at
United Airlines for twenty-eight years. Erskin Skates came to Keith's home to share the gospel
with him. When Keith was in his thirties he came to know Jesus and accepted Him as his
Savior. He faithfully served in his churches: Northeast Christian Church in Grand Junction,
Colorado for seven years; Santa Clara Christian Church for fourteen years; and North Valley
Baptist Church for thirty-six years. After retirement he spent 3 months each summer traveling in
his RV visiting churches, friends, and family across the country for approximately 25 years.
Keith was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Jean Romkee, his parents, William and Orpha
Romkee, his brothers Wilfred (Ardel), Richard (Londa), Loren Stanley and Byron and 3
grandchildren.
He is survived by his children; Linda Romkee Wagner, Mark William Romkee, David Scott (Jodi)
Romkee, Amy (Earl) Martin, Steve Romkee, Jennifer Romkee, Grandchildren; Melinda Wagner,
Natalie (Chris) Wagner, Regina Wagner, Michael Romkee, Ryan Romkee, Jacob Romkee,
Julianne Romkee, Anna Martin, Kathleen Martin, Kate Romkee, and eight great grandchildren,
as well as his current wife Celeste and her children; Mohfai (Christina) Hussin, Leslee Hussin,
Crissi Hussin, Cessy (David) Hussin White and grandchildren; Maggie Hussin, Madison Hussin,
Moey Hussin, Mitchell Hussin, McKenna Hussin, Donncha White.
A memorial service will be held at North Valley Baptist Church located at 3520 De La Cruz Blvd,
Santa Clara, CA. The service will begin at 9:30 AM. Private burial service following.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a college scholarship fund to Golden
State Baptist College. Write "college scholarship, Keith Romkee" on the memo line.
